The New Orleans Saints could have reserve running backs Ladell Betts and Chris Ivory active for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons as they deal with the loss of multipurpose performer Reggie Bush.

The former first-round draft pick suffered a broken fibula in his right leg in last Monday’s victory at San Francisco. Bush limped through the Saints locker room on Friday, according to Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, without a cast, brace or crutches.

Initial word was Bush would miss four to six weeks but he’s looking to fast track that, and said that it is a minor fracture that will not require surgery or a cast to heal properly.
