Denver Broncos wide receiver Kenny McKinley had been found dead in Arapahoe County, Colo., according to a report by KDVR-TV.

Josina Anderson of the station reports that sources said McKinley apparently committed suicide.

A fifth-round draft pick in 2009, McKinley was placed on injured reserve before the season with a knee injury. He also spent his rookie season on injured reserve.

McKinley, a South Carolina product, is the third Broncos player to die in four years. Cornerback Darrent Williams was killed in a shooting and running back Damien Nash died during a charity basketball game in Missouri.

UPDATED: The Denver Post has confirmed the report by Fox-31 that McKinley has been found dead.

The National Football Post sends its condolences to the friends and family of McKinley and the Broncos organization.
