With some injuries piling up for the Philadelphia Eagles, they will check out some potential depth at wide receiver today when they give veteran Kelley Washington a work out.
Washington was one of the final cuts by the team in September, according to Adam Caplan of Fox Sports, and the Eagles are down to four healthy wide receivers after rookie Riley Cooper missed the team’s win at San Francisco on Sunday night with a concussion.
Washington has spent time previously with New England, Cincinnati and Baltimore, and he could bolster the Eagles’ special teams units.
