Washington needs Robert Griffin III back on the field as soon as he can.
Wednesday was a good step forward for that. According to a report The Washington Post, Griffin took a number of reps during individual drills. That's certainly a positive sign since he's able to move around on the healing ankle.
Of course, this doesn't mean anything since it's just individual work. Griffin very well could head back to the sideline and become a spectator during team drills.
There's a chance Griffin, who dislocated his ankle in Week 2, plays this week. But that chance can still be considered small, at least for the time being.
