Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is expected tostart against the Dallas Cowboys despite having sprained his right shoulder.

Griffin was hurt on a fourth-quarter sack by Eagles defensive lineman Fletcher Cox.

"He can throw the ball, it's just a little sore," Redskins coach Jay Gruden said. ""We just want to make sure he doesn't aggravate it more, give him another couple days of rest and be ready to go Friday."

Griffin was able to throw Wednesday without problems.
