New Orleans Saints director of college scouting Rick Reiprish was fired while attending the Senior Bowl.
Reiprish expressed surprise about the move.
"I'm going to let it stew for a day or two," Reiprish said. "I don't want to say anything that I don't think through."
The Saints are expected to hire former Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland.
