There's a chance that New York Jets receiver Santonio Holmes gets on the football field this Sunday for his team's game against Tampa Bay.
Holmes, who has a foot injury, practiced Wednesday on a limited basis. However, media reports indicate that Holmes looked fast in positional drills.
Whether he'll actually play Sunday remains to be seen. Practicing on Wednesday is a good sign. But Holmes, optimistic with his recovery, did say he can't cut the way he's comfortable with at this time.
“Honestly I feel pretty good about the things that I’ve tried to do thus far,” Holmes said, via the New York Daily News.
