First, the Seattle Seahawks signed Mike Williams to a three-year contract extension.

Now, they’ve locked up a less heralded receiver, but one that is showing improvement. Ben Obomanu signed a three-year contract extension today, the team announced two days before a divisional playoff showdown with the Chicago Bears.

Terms of Obomanu’s deal are not known. Williams reportedly received a little more than $11 million, a modest deal for the former first-round draft pick. Obomanu has scored four touchdowns this season. The former seventh-round draft pick had 30 receptions for 494 yards. Now, he’s been rewarded.
