A quick look at the update our Power Rankings and full season projections for the top five European soccer leagues.
English Premier League
There is an unfamiliar look to this season's Premier League table. Leicester City sits atop traditional contenders with a five-point lead. Maybe it is time to start believing in Leicester. The Foxes just passed their greatest test beating Manchester City 3-1 on the road. Claudio Ranieri's team is projected to win its first Premier League title even though the club is outside the top five in the Power Rankings.
In Premier League history 13 teams have had a five-point lead after 25 games and ten of them won it. That is great news for anyone that backed Leicester at 5000/1 in the preseason.

The league season is more than halfway over and one thing is becoming very clear. Bayern Munich, even with the announcement of manager Pep Guardiola departure for Man City, is likely to win a record fourth straight Bundesliga title. Bayern has failed to win in just three league matches this season. An eight point advantage over second place Dortmund is expected to double by season's end.

There is a Serie A title showdown set for Saturday as table-topping Napoli will host Juventus. The Azzurri have a two point lead over the reigning champions. Juve started slow but has since won 14 consecutive league games (the first time the club had accomplished that feat).
Napoli has the advantage at home and has a 67.8 percent chance to win or draw against Juventus. Nonetheless, Juve is No. 1 in the Power Rankings and still the most likely champion regardless of Saturday's outcome.
