The New York Giants tried out former Air Force linebacker Alex Means today, according to a league source.
They wound up signing former Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers linebacker Terrell Manning.
Means is a 6-foot-4, 240-pounder with 4.75 speed in the 40-yard dash, a 32-inch vertical leap and a 10-1 broad jump.
Means tried out for the Carolina Panthers at a rookie minicamp.
