The New England Patriots have signed former Cleveland Browns outside linebacker Jabaal Sheard to a two-year, $11 million contract, according to a league source.
Sheard got $5.5 million guaranteed with a $4 million signing bonus.
He has base salaries of $1 million and $4 million in 2015 and 2016.
His 2015 base salary is fully guaranteed.
His 2016 base salary is fully guaranteed if he's on the roster on the fifth day of the 2016 league year.
