The Washington Redskins have released cornerback Richard Crawford, according to a source.
Crawford has 18 career tackles and one interception.
Crawford is a former Redskins seventh-round pick from SMU.
Crawford returned a punt 64 yards as a rookie againts the Baltimore Ravens, leading to a game-winning field goal in overtime.
He spent last season on injured reserve.
