The Pittsburgh Steelers have finalized a four-year contract extension for cornerback Cortez Allen with a base value of more than $26 million, according to a league source.

Allen was entering the final year of his rookie deal.

Now, the Steelers have locked up one of their top young defensive players through the 2018 season.

He's recorded 121 career tackles, 23 pass deflections, four interceptions and three forced fumbles.
