Legalized sports betting arrived Colorado May 1 2020. Voters approved the legislation to enact sports gambling (Proposition DD) in November 2019, and the betting infrastructure was finalized May 1.

The State also voted on a 10 per cent sports betting tax, which sits on the lower end of the spectrum around the country. They also voted that only venues currently licensed to offering gambling will be permitted to have the limited amount of issued licenses.
