Stedman Bailey suspended for first four games of 2014 season

The St. Louis Rams will be without receiver Stedman Bailey for the first four games of the season due to a violation of the NFL's performance-enhancing drugs policy, according to a report from NFL.com.

Bailey was a third-round pick in 2013 and re-joined college teammate Tavon Austin with the Rams. Both played at West Virginia. However, Bailey didn't see too much action as a rookie, catching just 17 passes for 226 yards.

If the suspension holds, Bailey will be able to practice with the Rams during offseason work and training camp. But once the season kicks off, he won't be able to participate in any team-related activities until after the four-game suspension is complete.
