In what could be a final effort to encourage Brett Favre to pay her to go away, Jenn Sterger, or at least her manager, has launched another assault on the 41-year-old quarterback.
TMZ.com reports that Phil Reese, the brunette bombshell’s manager, has said she is prepared to go public with an “overabundance of evidence” if the NFL does not punish Favre in the matter. Favre has been accused of sending lewd photos to Sterger’s cell phone.
What does it matter to Sterger if Favre is punished by the NFL? That’s going to provide her some sort of vindication or public feel-good? It smells like a final effort to induce a payment from Favre for her to go away quietly.
“No matter what happens Jenn has all legal remedies, including going public if the NFL doesn't clear her name,” Reese told TMZ.
Their belief is the NFL already possesses irrefutable evidence that condemns Favre. At this point, with four games remaining in his career, the NFL probably would like the matter to go away too.
Stay tuned. If you care.
