Bengals RB Zack Moss (neck) out indefinitely; TE Erick All tears ACL again

Cincinnati Bengals running back Zack Moss is out indefinitely with a neck injury, head coach Zac Taylor said Monday.

Moss, signed as an unrestricted free agent in March, did not play last week after reporting the injury to the Bengals on Thursday. He did not practice Friday and was added to the injury report as doubtful.

He rushed for 242 yards (3.3 yards per carry) with a long gain of 16 in his first eight games with Cincinnati, adding 23 receptions for 187 yards and three total touchdowns.

Chase Brown emerged as the No. 1 back and might have cemented that role with a career day Sunday in a 41-24 win over the Raiders. Brown had a career-high 27 carries for 120 yards and caught a TD pass.

He leads the team with 105 carries for 479 yards and four rushing TDs in 2024. But Brown came out of the game with bruised ribs and no other running back on the roster has any carries this season.

Moss had 183 carries for 794 yards and seven total touchdowns with the Colts last season as the fill-in for injured starter Jonathan Taylor.

Taylor also confirmed tight end Erick All Jr. suffered a torn ACL on Sunday against the Raiders. He had 20 receptions this season. The injury to his right knee is a repeat of the injury he suffered at Iowa last season.

Bengals rookie TE Erick All (torn ACL) out for season

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Erick All will miss the remainder of his rookie season with a torn right ACL.

Head coach Zac Taylor confirmed Monday that All sustained the knee injury in Sunday’s 41-24 home win against the Las Vegas Raiders.

All, 24, had appeared in all nine games for the Bengals (4-5) with six starts, catching 20 of 22 targets for 158 yards and no touchdowns. He had two receptions for 24 yards against the Raiders.

The Bengals selected All in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Iowa, where he dealt with the same injury last October.

Michigan starting TE Erick All done for season

Michigan starting tight end Erick All is done for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery last week.

All took to social media Friday to say that he underwent “life-changing” surgery in Fort Myers, Fla., but did not disclose what it was.

“He won’t be back this year,” Harbaugh told reporters Monday. “He had a surgery that he needed, and (it) was successful. We look forward to rehab for Erick. He won’t be back this year.”

All was voted one of five co-captains this season. He recorded three catches for 36 yards in the first three games of the season. He’s been out with a back injury since September.

All was second on the team in receptions in 2021, hauling in 38 passes for 437 yards and two touchdowns.

Tight end Luke Schoonmaker has racked up 23 catches for 229 yards in place of All this season.

The No. 4 Wolverines (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten) are preparing to play rival Michigan State (3-4, 1-3) this week.
