Tim Tebow may become the new conquering hero in New York, but apparently not just yet.
The Associated Press reports that Tebow was shown briefly on the video board at Yankee Stadium Sunday night and that the boos were louder than the cheers for the Jets new backup quarterback.
Tebow smiled and was wearing a Yankees hat sitting near the Angels dugout, but that didn't stop fans from booing him.
It will be interesting to see if Tebow can turn those boos to cheers once he heads across the way to New Jersey to Met Life Stadium this season.
