Denver Broncos safety T.J. Ward is due in court in Aug. 4 after his lawyer requested a continuance.</p> <p>
Ward was originally set for a court hearing today in Denver on an assault charge.</p> <p>
Ward is facing misdemeanor assault and disturbing the peace charges.</p> <p>
Ward allegedly threw a glass mug at a bartender during an incident at PT's All-Nude Club in Denver. Ward was involved in a dispute on whethere he drank from a bottle he brought with him to the club and was asked to dispose of once he entered the club.</p> <p>
Ward isn't expected to be disciplined by the NFL for the incident.</p> <p>
