Will Nebraska have a little less magic when the team visits Iowa State on Saturday?
Not likely, as quarterback Taylor Martinez should be ready to go against the Cyclones despite dealing with a sprained right ankle — not a bone bruise in his leg as head coach Bo Pelini initially said.
“T-Magic,” who is day to day for practice sessions as of now, was injured late in the second quarter of the Cornhuskers’ 31-17 win over Missouri. Zac Lee replaced him to start the third quarter.
Pelini also said cornerback Alfonzo Dennard is day to day after suffering a concussion.
