Behind a strong fourth quarter comeback, the New England Patriots won their first Super Bowl in a decade.
It was led by quarterback Tom Brady, who won his fourth Super Bowl along with coach Bill Belichick.
Brady threw three touchdown passes in the win over the Seattle Seahawks. Brady went 13 for 15 in the fourth quarter
The game was put away when undrafted rookie Malcolm Butler intercepted Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in the final minute.
"You know, whatever it takes," said Brady, who threw the game-winning touchdown to Julian Edelman. "Every team has a journey and a lot of people lost faith in us ... but we held strong, we held together, and it's a great feeling."
Brady was named the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player of the third time.
"It wasn't the way we drew it up," Brady said. "It was a lot of mental toughness. Our team has had it all year. We never doubted each other, so that's what it took."
Brady has an NFL record 21 playoff wins. He's now tied with Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana with four Super Bowl wins.
Brady has 11 touchdown passes in the Super Bowl, passing Montana.
"He's Tom Brady," Edelman said. "He's the greatest quarterback on the planet."
