It seemed a forgone conclusion that Tom Brady's touchdown streak would continue all season, even with a receiving group that he hasn't been used to.
Instead, the Bengals kept Brady from throwing a touchdown in Cincinnati's 13-6 win over New England. Brady's streak came to an end at 52 consecutive games with a passing touchdown.
Drew Brees will continue to hold the NFL record at 54 games in a row with a touchdown throw. Speaking of Brees, he had a streak of his own stop Sunday. After throwing for 300 or more yards in nine consecutive games (dating back to last year), Brees came up short with 288 in a 26-18 New Orleans win over Chicago.
