Former Kansas City Chiefs tight end Tony Moeaki has signed a two-year contract with the Buffalo Bills.
Bills tight end Scott Chandler is a pending free agent.
Moeaki recently visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Chiefs waived Moeaki from injured reserve with an injury settlement.
Moeaki fractured his scapula during the preseason against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The injury was regarded as a clean fracture and there was no displacement of the shoulder.
Moeaki had entered training camp healthy and the former Iowa standout could be a good target for teams when he’s ready to return from his injury.
Moeaki caught 47 passes for 556 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie.
Last season, Moeaki caught 33 passes for 453 yards and a touchdown.
