Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo practiced Friday for the second day in a row in advance of Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a sign that his back is improving.

Romo has fractures in two small bones in his back and missed last Sunday's game to the Arizona Cardinals.

"He looked pretty comfortable to me," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. "Clearly, he wanted to get the blood flowing through his body and get his movement back both in the pocket and also throwing the football, and he had a pretty good day yesterday."

Romo said Thursday he was still a little sore.

Who's going to start? Romo or backup Brandon Weeden. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says he anticipates Romo playing.
