One of the nation's top defensive tackles orally committed to Ohio State after making an official visit to the school over the weekend.

Class of 2012 defender Tommy Schutt from Glenbard West High School (Glen Ellyn, IL) originally committed to Penn State but changed his mind after the news broke of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.

It also didn't hurt that the 6-3, 301-pounder, who becomes the 17th member of OSU's 2012 class, took a liking to new Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer and Co.

Scout.com ranks Schutt as a 5-star recruit while Rivals.com lists him as a 4-star player.
