Top junior college TE raves about Nebraska

The 6-5, 250-pound Pierce College (Woodland Hills, CA) product holds offers from major programs such as Oklahoma, Georgia, Miami, Florida and LSU. But the Cornhuskers sit atop the list of the Class of 2013 star.

"I always knew from the get-go that they'd be at the top, and this just solidified that," Sandland said. "I can definitely say they're going to be in it for the long haul. When I boil it down to three or five schools, there's no doubt that Nebraska is going to be in there."

The Huskers need to find replacements at the tight end position once Ben Cotton and Kyler Reed graduate after this season, so getting a commitment from Sandland would be a real coup.
