Defensive end Mike Montgomery is expected to meet with the Vikings in Minnesota on Monday, according to Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
The five-year veteran out of Texas A&M was drafted by the Packers in 2005. In five seasons in Green Bay, Montgomery started just eight games, amassing 123 tackles and five sacks.
The 6’5”, 282-pounder appeared in ten games for the Pack in 2009, recording only two tackles.
Montgomery was cut by the Packers earlier this offseason.
