Here’s a rundown of the key injuries from around the league:
Beanie Wells, RB, Arizona Cardinals (knee, QUESTIONABLE): Wells did not play in Week 1 and was held to limited reps every day this week during practice. Owners should consider another option for Week 2. Even if he plays, Wells will likely see limited touches.
Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona Cardinals (knee, PROBABLE): Fitz was a full participant in each practice this past week and is expected to start Sunday at Atlanta.
Erik Coleman, S, Atlanta Falcons (knee, QUESTIONABLE): Coleman missed all three practices this week. IDP owners should consider a better option.
Todd Heap, TE, Baltimore Ravens (shoulder, QUESTIONABLE): Heap did not practice on Wednesday and was held to limited reps on both Thursday and Friday. He will likely be a game-time decision.
Keith Rivers, LB, Cincinnati Bengals (foot, QUESTIONABLE): Rivers was held out of practice on Wednesday and took limited reps on both Thursday and Friday. IDP owners should consider a backup option, although there is a decent chance Rivers will play on Sunday against the Ravens.
Cedric Benson, RB, Cincinnati Bengals (shoulder, PROBABLE): Benson was held to limited reps in practice on Wednesday but was a full participant on both Thursday and Friday. Expect him to start Sunday vs. Baltimore.
Paul Posluszny, LB, Buffalo Bills (knee, OUT): Posluszny is OUT for Week 2 at Green Bay.
DeMarcus Ware, LB, Dallas Cowboys (head, PROBABLE): Ware didn’t practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday and was a full participant on Friday. Expect him to start Sunday vs. Chicago.
Donovan McNabb, QB, Washington Redskins (ankle, QUESTIONABLE): Donny Mac was a full participant in all three practices this week, which makes it kind of strange that he is listed as “questionable.” Expect him to start Sunday vs. Houston.
Clinton Portis, RB, Washington Redskins (wrist, QUESTIONABLE): Just like with McNabb, Portis was a full participant all week, but for some reason is listed as “questionable.” Expect him to start Sunday vs. Houston.
Stephen Cooper, LB, San Diego Chargers (knee, DOUBTFUL): Cooper was held out of all three practices this week. Owners are advised to find another option.
Shawne Merriman, LB, San Diego Chargers (Achilles, PROBABLE): Despite taking limited reps in practice for most of the week, expect to see Merriman in the lineup this Sunday vs. Jacksonville.
Jake Delhomme, QB, Cleveland Browns (ankle, DOUBTFUL): Delhomme missed all three days of practice this week. Look for Seneca Wallace to get the start Sunday vs. Kansas City.
Percy Harvin, WR, Minnesota Vikings (hip, QUESTIONABLE): Harvin took limited reps in practice on both Wednesday and Friday, but missed Thursday’s session. Keep an eye on this situation Sunday morning, but expect him to be in the lineup vs. Miami.
Cedric Griffin, CB, Minnesota Vikings (knee, QUESTIONABLE): Griffin was held to limited reps in all three practices this week. IDP owners should consider another option, although there is a decent chance Griffin will start vs. Miami.
Kevin Kolb, QB, Philadelphia Eagles (concussion, OUT): Kolb is OUT for Week 2.
Stewart Bradley, LB, Philadelphia Eagles (concussion, OUT): Bradley is OUT for Week 2.
Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions (shoulder, OUT): Stafford is OUT for Week 2.
Louis Delmas, S, Detroit Lions (groin, biceps, calf, QUESTIONABLE): Give Delmas the award for most injuries listed on the report. The second-year safety missed practice on Wednesday but took limited reps on both Thursday and Friday. He will likely be a game-time decision.
Mike Williams, WR, Seattle Seahawks (thigh, PROBABLE): Williams made progress with each day of practice this past week and is expected to start Sunday at Denver.
Michael Bush, RB, Oakland Raiders (thumb, QUESTIONABLE): Bush was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, but took limited reps on both Thursday and Friday. He is expected to miss Sunday’s game vs. St. Louis. Leave him on the bench.
Kellen Winslow, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (knee, QUESTIONABLE): Winslow took limited reps on Friday, but missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. While he should play Sunday at Carolina, owners need to keep an eye on this situation. Winslow’s knee could become a problem.
Matt Moore, QB, Carolina Panthers (concussion, PROBABLE): Moore took limited reps in practice on Wednesday, but was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. He will likely be a game-time decision.
Kevin Boss, TE, New York Giants (concussion, OUT): Boss is OUT for Week 2 vs. Indianapolis.
Hakeem Nicks, WR, New York Giants (ankle, QUESTIONABLE): Nicks took limited reps in practice on Friday, but was held out on Wednesday and Thursday. This could be a game-time decision, so be sure to keep an eye out on Sunday morning.
