Mark Barron, safety, Alabama (6-2, 218)

Barron is one of the safest prospects in the NFL draft and can be the quarterback of the Tampa Bay defense. However, I don’t think he has the kind of elite range to be a “plus” ball hawk in the deep half and can be vulnerable when asked to turn and run. He’s the top player at the position in this year’s class, but I don’t think he’s a prospect who warrants a top-ten selection.
