Bills sign Leger Douzable, Chris Martin
The Buffalo Bills signed defensive end Leger Douzable and offensive tackle Chris Martin.
Douzable comes to Buffalo after spending the last three seasons with the New York Jets. The 6-4, 284-pound Central Florida product originally entered the NFL in 2008 as an undrafted free agent with the Minnesota Vikings. Douzable has appeared in 91 games throughout his career, accumulating 116 tackles (67 solo) and five sacks.
Martin entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans following the 2014 NFL Draft. The 6-5, 305-pound Central Florida product rejoins the Bills after spending time with the team during the 2015 season. Martin spent 2014 on the New England Patriots and Texans practice squads. Following the 2014 season, Martin signed with the San Francisco 49ers before going on to spend training camp with the Miami Dolphins and the Patriots. Martin played in 46 games during his collegiate career, starting 27.
The Bills cut defensive end Claudell Louis and offensive tackle Keith Lumpkin.
