Cecil Shorts to Texans on two-year, $6 million deal

The Houston Texans have signed former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts to a two-year, $6 million contract, according to a league source.

He caught 53 passes for 557 yards and one touchdown last season. In 2012, Shorts caught 55 passes for 979 yards and seven touchdowns. For his career, he has 176 receptions and 2,343 yards and 12 touchdowns. He's averaged 13.3 yards per catch.
