Eagles, Chip Kelly conducted private workout Thursday for Florida State receivers Rashad Greene, Christian Green

The Philadelphia Eagles and coach Chip Kelly conducted a private workout Thursday with Florida State wide receivers Rashad Greene and Christian Green at the Seminoles' facility in Tallahassee, Fla. Greene ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds at the NFL scouting combine with a 36 1/2 inch vertical leap and a 10-2 broad jump. He caught 270 career passes for 3,830 yards, setting career Seminoles records. Last season, the all-conference selection caught a school-record 99 passes for 1,365 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. His teammate, Green, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.47 and 4.49 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout. That included a 10-2 broad jump, a 34-inch vertical leap and he bench pressed 225 pounds 16 times. Green finished his career with 48 receptions for 760 yards and one touchdown. He's regarded as an ascending player. He played in the Medal of Honor all-star game and did well. Green, whose cousin is former Florida State and NFL player E.G. Green, told National Football Post that he enjoyed working out for the Eagles and meeting Kelly. "It went really well, I ran some routes and did some board work," Green said. "I had a good experience. You could definitely tell coach Kelly has a creative offense and puts his players in the best position to attack the defense and make big plays. It was good being around him and getting to know him. The Eagles said I did well and ran good routes and showed good hands. "It was a good experience. I had a good time. It was fun being able to talk to them and get their football knowledge. Whatever team drafts me will get somebody that will work hard and has size and athletic ability and can play inside and outside and can get open. I have the ability to be that guy."
