Falcons hire Joel Collier as director of pro personnel

The Atlanta Falcons hired Joel Collier as director of pro personnel.
Collier was assistant general manager for the Kansas City Chiefs working under Falcons executive Scott Piolie.
“After a thorough and comprehensive search, I am pleased to have Joel Collier join us as our director of pro personnel,” Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said. “He brings an extensive personnel background to our department, and he will provide strong leadership to our pro scouting group.” Collier brings more than 20 years of NFL experience to Atlanta.  Collier is the son of Joe Collier, a former Buffalo Bills head coach and defensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots.
