Ravens tight end Nick Boyle suspended 10 games for PED violation

Baltimore Ravens tight end Nick Boyle is suspended for the first 10 games of next season for another violation of the NFL performance-enhancing drug policy. Boyle was suspended for the final four games of last season for violating the PED policy. The fifth-round pick from Delaware is the Ravens' third tight end behind Crockett Gillmore and Maxx Williams. Following his first suspension last year, Boyle wrote on social media: "I am truly sorry for the disappointment I have caused by a poor choice I made. I am ready to move forward and I appreciate all the support.” After the first suspension, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said: "It wasn't like steroids or anything like that. It’s pretty common. It’s what you read about all the time with guys. I don’t think he realized that it was something he shouldn’t be doing. Or if he did, he didn’t think it through. I’ve talked to him, and he was telling me how stupid it was, and I agreed. It was pretty dumb.” Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
