Redskins running back Silas Redd suspended for violating NFL substance-abuse policy

Washington Redskins running back Silas Redd has been suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy. Redd was placed on injured reserve last season. He served a four-game suspension for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy. He missed last season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
