Source: Michael Thomas signs his Dolphins tender

Miami Dolphins safety Michael Thomas signed his exclusive-rights free agent tender, according to a source. Thomas played eight games last season with two starts and recorded 18 tackles. Thomas is best known for intercepting a pass against New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady with two seconds remaining in a Dolphins win, in his first NFL game, in 2013. Thomas, a former undrafted free agent from Stanford, played for the San Francisco 49ers in 2012. For his career, Thomas has 21 tackles and one interception.
