Source: Panthers offer Alan Ball one-year, $2 million deal, not signed yet

The Carolina Panthers haveĀ  offered cornerback Alan Ball a one-year, $2 million contract, according to a league source. Ball hasn't agreed to terms yet, though, and is weighing the Panthers' offer and his options with other NFL teams. Ball would get a $1 million signing bonus and a $950,000 base salary with a $50,000 workout bonus. Ball has up to $500,000 in playtime incentives.
