Source: Portland State center Cornelius Edison visited Bears
Portland State All-American center Cornelius Edison visited the Chicago Bears, according to a league source.
Edison won the Rimington Award as the top center in the country at the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision level.
The 6-foot-3, 295-pound team captain was named All-Big Sky Conference for two years in a row.
He played in the FCS National Bowl All-Star game, starting at center.
Edison started the final 35 games of his career.
Growing up in Washington state, Edison was named Lineman of the Year in the South Puget Sound League South Division as a senior, all-state and a first-team all-conference offensive and defensive lineman
