Toledo safety Jordan Haden, Joe Haden's younger brother, not pursuing NFL career, to join work force

Toledo safety Jordan Haden, Cleveland Browns star cornerback Joe Haden's younger brother, has decided not to pursue an NFL career and will instead join the work force, according to his father, Joe Haden Sr. Although he's drawn interest from nine NFL teams, Jordan Haden isn't planning on playing and will work for the family business, Haden Sr. said in a telephone interview. Jordan Haden made his decision after suffering several injuries during his college career and is going to have shoulder surgery this week. The 5-foot-10, 206-pound free safety intercepted three passes last season as he played 10 of 13 games. He had 46 tackles and seven pass deflections. Haden was a three-year starter, but had injuries as a junior. He had 16 tackles and two interceptions as a sophomore after transferring from Florida. Haden was a four-star recruit at Friendly High School in Maryland. Haden was the 12th-ranked safety in the nation coming out of high school. He had 62 tackles and three interceptions as a junior, rushing for 238 yards and three touchdowns. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
