Bucs will sign DT Al Woods off Steelers' practice squad

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will replace second-round pick Brian Price with a defensive tackle that was selected two rounds later in April.

According to Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network, the Bucs will sign Al Woods off the practice squad of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Woods will take the place of Price, the rookie defensive tackle who was placed on injured reserve today with a pelvis injury.

Woods, an LSU product, was drafted by the New Orleans Saints but became one of the team’s final cuts. He’s been on the Steelers practice squad and now he will get a shot.
