Source: Panthers try out tackle J'Marcus Webb
The Carolina Panthers tried out former Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears offensive tackle J'Marcus Webb, according to a source.
Webb visited the Kansas City Chiefs during free agent. He wasn't immediately signed to a contract by the Panthers.
Webb played in eight games with one start last season for the Vikings after being claimed off waivers.
Webb was cut by the Bears last year.
He's a former starting left tackle for Chicago who was replaced in the lineup at left tackle and shifted to right tackle when the Bears signed Jermon Bushrod.
The former West Texas A&M lineman has started 45 of 54 career games played.
