Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge underwent sports hernia surgery.
He'll be back by training camp, according to coach Hue Jackson.
Barnidge signed a four-year $13.5 million contract this offseason.
He had a breakthrough season with 79 catches for 1,043 yards and nine touchdowns.
