The Philadelphia Eagles made it official this morning, announcing that defensive tackle Derek Landri has been signed to a one-year contract.
He takes the roster spot of Antonio Dixon, who was placed on injured reserve with a triceps injury.
Landri, the Notre Dame product, was with the Eagles in preseason and was let go at the final cutdown. Landri started 16 games for the Carolina Panthers last season and made 43 tackles with three sacks. He spent two seasons with the Panthers after playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars for three years.
