The Chicago Bears are in wait-and-see mode with Martellus Bennett.
The Bears' top tight end sustained a rib injury earlier this week in practice and is now listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers. Bennett has become more of a go-to target for Jay Cutler in the passing game, and not having him this Sunday would be a huge blow to the Bears' offense.
Bennett is on pace to have a career season statistically. He has 517 receiving yards and five touchdowns for the season. One more touchdown would give him a career-best in single-season scores. He's also on pace for a single-season best 1,034 yards.
If Bennett is unable to go, that means more targets for both Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall in what is essentially a must-win game for the 3-5 Bears.
