The Green Bay Packers cut failed first-round offensive tackle Derek Sherrod.
Sherrod, 25, was a bust primarily due to injuries. He broke his leg as a rookie.
Drafted 32nd overall in 2012, Sherrod played in just 20 games for the Packers.
He started one game this season.
Sherrod is subject to waivers.
The Packers activated center J.C. Tretter from injured reserve-designated to return.
