Despite a 3-4 record, oddsmakers believe that the boys in Philadelphia have turned the corner.
Following the Eagles’ 34-7 ass-kicking of the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, Andy Reid’s crew jumped from 20-1 to 9-1 to win the Super Bowl, per Dave Mason and our friends at BetOnline.com. As of the current moment, only the Green Bay Packers (2.2-1), Pittsburgh Steelers (7.5-1) and New England Patriots (4.4-1) boast lower odds.
The New Orleans Saints held steady at 9-1 despite an embarrassing road loss to the previously winless St. Louis Rams, while the Kansas City Chiefs climbed to 60-1 (from 100-1) after posting their fourth consecutive win.
When it comes to value, I think the Houston Texans (16-1), Detroit Lions (18-1) and Chicago Bears (50-1) are all worth a look.
