Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson suffered a dislocated finger in practice and was taken off the field for treatment.

But the injury isn’t serious and Texans coach Gary Kubiak is hopeful that Johnson will be back on the field later this afternoon, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

The Texans can ill afford to lose Johnson for any period of time, but a minor finger injury isn’t going to be an issue for the season. Fortunately, it doesn't sound like surgery will be required.
