The Cincinnati Bengals are knocking on the door of a playoff berth, but you'd never know it by the stands at Paul Brown Stadium.

The Bengals drew the second-lowest crowd in stadium history when it was announced that 41,273 tickets were distributed for the game on Saturday against Arizona. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, it is the third time this season, the Bengals have drawn less than 42,000. Many of the no-shows are in direct protest to owner Mike Brown's handling of the team over many lean years.

The Bengals are even offering season ticket holders a two-for-one purchase plan for Sunday's game.

And Bengals players are pleading for fan support with Cincy facing a win-and-in situation with the Baltimore Ravens coming to town Sunday.

“I’m just happy for the team and the city of Cincinnati,” said cornerback/goodwill ambassador Pacman Jones. “The fans did a great job getting behind us, and we need all of you this week.”

And with Pacman Jones helping lead the public relations charge, how on earth could such a plea fall on deaf ears with Bengals fans?
