The wide receiver has already met with the Eagles and Browns. Joe Fortenbaugh
University of Connecticut wide receiver Marcus Easley will work out for the Cincinnati Bengals next week, the 22-year-old told the NFP during a recent podcast.
The senior wideout caught 48 passes for 893 yards and eight touchdowns in 11 games for the 8-5 Huskies in 2009. Easley posted five 100+ yard outings and ranked fourth in receiving yards and fifth in touchdown receptions in the Big East last season.
In addition to working out for the Bengals, Easley met with the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns last week.
The 6’3”, 210-pounder ran a 4.45 in the 40-yard-dash at February’s combine. A downfield threat with the ability to create separation off the line, Easley (who walked-on at Connecticut) is currently the NFP’s No. 5 ranked wide receiver prospect.
