The Buffalo Bills have hired former NFL cornerback Gerald Dixon as a pro scout.

Dixon was a four-year starter at Alabama and an All-Southeastern Conference selection.

He played in the NFL for the Detroit Lions and Bills. He also played in NFL Europe and in the Canadian Football League.

He has coached for the past six years at The Citadel.
